All good things come in threes... In the seventh prize of the CSIO Roma Master d'Inzeo 2026, Ireland secured one more victory. Following Denis Lynch and Jordan Coyle, it was Tom Wachman, the youngest of Irish competitors, to grab the top of the podium.

It was a good course. It was quite difficult, quite delicate. It took plenty of jumping, so I was delighted with my horse today. It's my first time here. It's an amazing show, very rich in history and tradition. The grass ring is unbelievable. I'm so delighted to be here” said Wachman after the competition.

As we said, the class, which featured tences at 1.55 metres and a prize of €105,500, was fiercely contested until the final jump. It rewarded the daring Irishman, who rode Do It Easy to an incredibly fast time of under 36 seconds — the only competitor out of 14 (and 60 starters) to do so — and secured his place in the jump-off.

Wachman's time of 35.95 seconds proved unbeatable for his closest rivals, including France's Nina Mallevaey, who came second with My Clementine (0 faults, 36.26 seconds), and Germany's Richard Vogel, who came third with Cloudio (0 faults, 36.58 seconds).
