Following a severe storm with exceptionally strong winds, one of the historic cypress trees surrounding the Piazza di Siena oval was brought down. Within days, the damaged tree was removed and replaced with a new cypress, restoring the original alignment.

The intervention was carried out to preserve the visual and cultural balance that defines the site’s landscape identity and to safeguard the historic image of this iconic setting.
