The project also marked the rebirth of the Galoppatoio, an area historically dedicated to equestrian activities that had progressively fallen into neglect and disuse. Through an integrated programme of restoration and regeneration, the space was transformed into a dynamic and multifunctional environment.

Today, the Galoppatoio has regained its role as a sporting and social hub open to the city, capable of hosting events, outdoor activities and public gatherings. The intervention restored dignity and purpose to a long-overlooked area, reintegrating it into the living fabric of Villa Borghese.
