An important restoration and enhancement project gave new life to the historic heart of Villa Borghese. The eighteenth-century grandstands were carefully restored through a conservation-led approach designed to preserve their historical and material character while improving safety and usability.

At the same time, the entire oval arena and its surrounding areas underwent extensive redevelopment, involving both landscape and infrastructural improvements. The result is an open, accessible space conceived not only for major sporting events but also for everyday public use.
