BIO

Biography

In the Bost family, equestrian talent is passed down from one generation to another, with Roger Senior as the first international rider who inspired his son, who in turn passed this passion on to his two children, Nicolas and Clementine, both now excellent riders. Roger Yves Bost started to ride as a child competing on ponies when he was eight to then move on to horses when he was twelve, inspired by a great passion for horses more than for the sport itself. He was the first rider to be part of the Aachen Nations Cup winning team on two occasions.

In 2007, the French government awarded him the Order of Agricultural Merit, while thanks to his results in the 1990 Stockholm Show Jumping World Championships he was received by the then President of the Republic Jacques Chirac at the Elysée in Paris.
