Malin started to ride when she was six years old winning her first medal in the Swedish Championships at the age of fourteen; from that moment onwards she collected a series of wins at important shows and become a permanent member of the Swedish team. 

In addition to being an international rider, Malin is also a model, a singer and the host of television programmes. In 2004 she married TV host Henrik Johnsson and made her television debut in a programme called Barebacka (‘bareback’), a show all about horses and riding, and also published a musical video entitled ‘Do youwanna ride myhorse?’ in which Malin and her horses played leading roles. Malin Baryard has also appeared as an extra in a number of films and owned a restaurant. She also has two little girls and won an important show while seven months pregnant with her first child! It may seem she has a lot on her plate, but Malin is a woman who works at her best when she is very busy and there is a great deal to do… ! For many seasons she rode a phenomenal one-eyed stallion called H&M Tornesch.
