The son of Jan Jonsson – the Swedish rider who won silver at the 1972 eventing Olympics – Frederik is married to Piia Pantsu – a member of the Finnish eventing team at the 2000 Olympic Games. Fredrik also has a great passion for mountaineering sports, such as for example skiing and climbing.
