A young Irish rider, when he was only seventeen, Michael won Ireland’s National Show Jumping Championship reserved to seniors, confirming all the talent he had shown throughout his career as a junior. In 2013, Michael moved to England to work with the Irish champion rider Shane Breen, near Hickstead, to then open his own yard in 2014. He started with just two horses, but within a month another eight joined the team… !

In 2016 he completed a training course with the Young Riders Academy, an educational project developed in cooperation with the International Equestrian Federation and the International Riders Club, which every year involves a number of talented young riders.
