An entire family with a passion for horses behind him, a family yard in which he grew up and a brother called Antonio with whom he shares his passion are just some of the ingredients that have made Giampiero a successful rider whose talent and commitment have been noticed and enhanced by the programme for technical and professional growth organised by the Young Riders Academy – a project sponsored by the International Riders Club. 

Giampiero dreams of opening a yard of his own, of reaching the top in the world of international show jumping and becoming one of the top 50 riders in the world over the next few years. Of course he also dreams of winning an Olymplic medal for Italy and being one of the top ten riders in the world!
