When Kara and her sister Bretton were little girls, their parents enrolled them in every possible sport so the girls could discover what their passion might be. In the end Kara chose tennis and riding, but by the time she was seven, ponies seemed far more attractive than tennis rackets… So, encouraged by her parents who both had a passion for this sport, Kara started to ride at a very young age.

Her dream is to represent Canada at the Olympic Games one day, and with champions such as Ireland’s Conor Swail and Germany’s Marcus Ehning inspiring her, a number of important experiences abroad, such as in Britain with the great rider Ben Maher and then competing in California and in Florida, she seem to be on the right path.
